Delivery

We currently offer two types of delivery throughout Ireland, DublinBeds.ie Delivery Service and DPD couriers (small & flatpack items only).

Our own DublinBeds.ie delivery service is relatively quick. Delivery to areas like Dublin, Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Longford and Leitrim can take place a number of times in the same week. For areas like Galway, Limerick, Kerry, Cork, Waterford, Wexford etc, the lead time varies and on average is about 2 weeks. We offer free delivery on large items and because of this, we have to have a van in your area with other orders to offer this service. It is our aim to get your order to you as quickly as possible so please bare with us while we organise this with you.

Delivery will be booked in with you at least a day in advance with an estimated delivery time. You will also get a notice on the day. If for some reason you cannot accept delivery on the day after it is booked in and confirmed, a charge of €75 will apply for a subsequent attempt.

Delivery Costs:

We offer free delivery on large items like bedframes & mattresses. Smaller items which can be sent with DPD couriers for a faster delivery service incur a small fee of €9.

Express Shipping:
If you are looking for a particular item(s) ASAP, please contact us directly to check the availability of the item and the lead time for delivery. We can organise a courier service to deliver it to you for a fee (fees vary depending on the size of the item).

*Delivery times are subject to the actual item ordered is in stock.

At DublinBeds.ie we strive to ensure that all items meet your highest expectations, we recommend you read our Returns Policy prior to you making a purchase from our website, so you are familiar with our policy on refunds, returns and repairs and your legal rights and remedies. Please inspect all goods upon receipt, if an item is damaged or defective please contact us immediately. If for any other reason, you feel the need to return your item(s), you must return your item(s) within 14 days of receipt. If you have any questions regarding this our returns policy please contact us.

In-store Purchase Returns Policy

If you’re not entirely happy with your purchase please let us know as soon as possible. Unless an item is faulty, you should contact us and return a qualifying item within 14 days and you should return it to us.

If a qualifying item is returned to us as sold and is accompanied by the original proof of purchase within a 14 day period, we can refund you in full by the original payment method, offer you an exchange, or a store credit to the same value. Purchases made with credit/debit cards can only be refunded to the original purchase card and that card must be physically present and available when the refund is made.

Refunds can not be issued or items returned without original proof of purchase/receipt.

We reserve the right to refuse any return if the goods are not in a re-saleable condition or returned in original condition. Original condition means that the goods are unopened, in their original packaging with all documentation, and the item and its packaging are undamaged and unused.

We do not offer refunds or exchanges on clearance/ex-display/sold-as-seen items. Furthermore, any promotional/sale items will only be refunded at the promotional/sale price.

Larger Furniture and Bedding items may incur a restocking fee at our discretion.

Refund Policy Exclusions

We are unable to offer a refund or an exchange under this policy on the following items: gift cards, mattresses, pillows, other personal hygiene products, furniture where installation / assembly has taken place, beds and Wall beds where installation / assembly has taken place and any items that fall into the categories of misuse, wear and tear or failure to follow the instructions. Furthermore, we cannot refund items that were ordered to your specification, or if the goods are not a stock item.

Finally, transportation cost if all return items lie solely with you when returning an item to our store or warehouse

Online Purchase Returns Policy

This returns policy only applies when you make a purchase online from our website and Right of Withdrawal. Subject to the terms set out below, you have the right to cancel your order and return the goods, provided that:

(a) It is within 14 days of the order being received by you.

(b) The goods are in a perfect and resalable condition.

(c) the packaging remains in an ‘Original Condition’ state. Original condition means that the goods are unopened, in their original packaging.

Please Note:

(a) You are responsible for all costs to return the goods to us. I.E shipping and handling

(b) A full refund of the value of the goods will be made upon our receipt of the returned goods.

(c) In the interest of hygiene, mattresses, mattress protectors, duvets, sheets, pillows and all other hygiene-related products, cannot be returned unless they are unopened and in their original packaging.

(d) Customised, custom made or personalised goods cannot be refunded or exchanged.

(e) A restocking fee may apply on certain large items. restocking fees will never be charged without you getting prior notice.

Online Purchase Refunds

Refunds will be made within 7 days of returned items via the method of payment you used to make your online purchase. Any associated fee’s, I.E restocking, will be deducted where applicable.

Returning Faulty Goods

Prior to returning the goods by post or courier, please contact our team at info@dublinbeds.ie before we will be happy to help you through the process. We may need to arrange for an inspection of goods prior to return. When arranged, faulty goods should be returned within a reasonable timeframe. This timeframe will vary by product and you will be advised further on this by one of our team. Faulty goods may be dealt with by repair or replacement at our discretion.

Repairing Faulty Goods

Any goods returned for repair will be assessed and or repaired within a reasonable time frame. One of our team will set out this time frame with you.

If goods are determined to have been misused or accidentally damaged you may be required to pay labour costs, disposal costs, assessment fees and freight fees or where your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2007 or any manufacturer’s warranty do not apply. We may provide with a break down of these fees before a return as fees will vary due to reasons beyond our control. In some circumstances, goods presented for repair may be replaced by refurbished goods of the same type rather than being repaired. Refurbished parts may be used to repair the goods.
